Post How to define a string that includes the " character ?
Hi,
I've searched through the documents but can't figure out how to define a string that includes the " character ?
The motivation is that I need to invoke
yorick> system,cmd
where cmd would be a command string that (unfortunately) has to include " characters.

Thanks,
I

I guess you are looking for something like that :
Code:
> s="double quoted word: \"word\"";
> write, format="%s\n", s;
double quoted word: "word"
