Post subject:  yorick-gl and XQuartz version

I have the following problem regarding yorick-gl when displaying an open-gl window from a remote server
on a mac running XQuartz XQuartz 2.7.9 or above (window remains blanck) whereas it works fine if the
mac is running XQuartz 2.6.5. The solution is obvious, but this mac is 5 years old and unlikely to survive much longer :)

Could anyone confirm that they can display a the content of yorick-gl window on a recent version of XQuartz,
both locally, and as a client to an external server?

Thanks for your help!
Regards,
