Post Call for maintainer for OsX plugins

I am very rarely booting in OsX these days. My OsX yorick install is thus not up to date, and I find myself out of sync to maintain the OsX binary plugins (see pkg_mngr). As a result, the pkg_mngr distribution is way out of date for this OS.

Could someone take on this work? It basically consist of:
- Update the plugin source tree on a local machine whenever there is an update (cvs update or grab a new tarball).
- execute a script that build the plugin binary (including static libraries) and uploads to the binary repo

That also includes building the librairies (e.g. hdf5 or fftw), and keeping them up to date, but that should not be that often.

As OsX offers to boot/execute apps in 32 and 64 bits, it would be desirable if the maintainer can build apps in both version. I'm not sure what is the simplest approach for this.

Let me know if you're interested, and we will take it from there.

Hi Fran├žois,

I can do this, although I run 10.5 (32bits). I don't know if I can cross compile for 10.6.

On a side note, I am currently creating Portfiles for all of the Yorick packages to be included in macports.
